Battery tender

I'll be storing my Bonneville next week, and I'll remove the battery. I have a battery tender that states can be used to charge/maintain two batteries hooked up parallel. I want to do this between the Bonnie battery and my boat battery, which is about 550 CA. Is it reasonable to parallel these two batteries?

I would not. A motorcycle battery and a deep-cycle boat battery are very different beasts and should have different types of tenders. The boat battery should have something around a 5 amp charger and the motorcycle battery should have 1.25 amp or less and might be cooked by the bigger tender. Hooked up in parallel I would be afraid that either one would be cooked or one would not get sufficient current.

Get off my lawn!

I wouldn't even consider it.
