Triumph branded Windshield that bad?

I put an ebay listing for a Triumph branded windshield part number A9748028 and started the bidding at $100. Nobody even bid on it and I listed it for 10 days! I believe the original price is $369. It came with the bike when I bought it and tried it and didn't like it for myself. Is that thing really bad in terms of its intended purpose?

I have one, installed by the original owner of my my 09. It took a few months, but I finally put it on and it's not bad. Nothing to compare it to though. I keep the mounts on the bike, but only put the screen on if we get a wave of bugs or it's going to rain. Since I don't ride it in the rain, I've rarely had it on. They do seem kind of pricy, but they are not flimsy.

I bought a nice used one here for $135 shipped. Haven't put it on yet though.

I'me interested in what people think of them too. Seems like a lot of them for sale.
