HELP - Seat hurts my back, need a better seat option

My 2012 T100 has the flat, single seat with white trim (see attached photo). A lifetime of auto racing has left my spine in poor condition. I can barely ride 20 minutes before my lower back and tail bone begin to hurt. I really don't want to mess up the vintage look of my bike, but I either have to sell it or make it so I can ride in comfort.

All I could find on Triumph's web site was a $375 King And Queen Seat that might provide about 4 inches of lower back support. I'm not sure that's enough

Yes, I realize that this may entail getting rid of my wonderful little luggage rack but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Does Triumph make any type of lumbar support or backrest for the 2012 T100? Do you guys have any other ideas? I love my bike and want to remain a Triumph owner. Any help is appreciated.

Stock seat on my T100 hurt my tailbone so bad, I would have to take a week off between rides. Just like you, about 20 minutes and it would hurt to sit anywhere so bad I was worried I would have to sell to. Picked up a used K&Q on eBay. Does kill the lines a bit, but I can put in long miles now - no tailbone issues.

The standard Triumph K&Q? That little boost was enough to do the trick? Wow. That's a real idea. Plus, it's a genuine Triumph part with proper badging. Can you post a photo? What year is your T100? Thanks.

Just a thought - Maybe one of those waist belt supports might help? Those things really give you a lower back support but can also be a bit uncomfortable when bent forward. Cheap trial item.

I had some back issues after I wrecked my '12 T100. The stock seat that used to be fine was definitely a no go when I got the '13 T100. For me the single seat with rack was enough. It's about 1 inch taller with a bit more give than the stock seat, that combined with a sheep skin seat pad and my back is now pain free.

I've got the single seat with rack right now. I'm thinking about the Corbin Classic Single for Bonnie with rack. It's pricey but has a better look and should be lots of back support.

And I have a spinal support belt... I'll give that a try, too. Thanks!

Here's what I'm considering. Does anyone have any experience with these Classic Solo's from Corbin with rack?
