I just installed the TEC high desert mount exhaust for my 2013 Scrambler and the exhaust is Fantastic!
The sound is great, much louder (but not obnoxious) over the stock setup. The weight savings is pretty significant as well.......But the look, I think it gives a really unique look to the scrambler.
Bottom line.....I love it!
The install while not hard was not as straightforward and easy as say the stock or even an arrow. Just got a few bruised fingers and knuckles.
I put the TEC 2 into 1 CAFE on my Bonnie 2 weeks ago, along with the fuel tune and airbox baffle removal. I left the db killer in, and it has a wonderful growl, without being loud. And there's a big measurable difference in performance!
You know, based on that picture I would say yes. Although mine was already installed when it arrived so I didn't move it. I'll have to dig a little deeper, thanks for the heads up.
I looked at this when it first came out and didn't buy it for two reasons. I thought the welding on the exhaust pictured by TEC looked poor and the guards didn't suit the shape of the exhaust. As you've spent the money are you happy with the welding?. I still think the guards need rolling, but it does look superb on your bike. The weight saving compared to standard is amazing. Rob

I love seeing the welds but then again im not a show bike person. Ive got the B.C. high pipes with the cone eng. mufflers and i think im gonna buy this pipe for mine. I like the look of the 2 into 1.
Was a really easy job, weight saving over the standard pipes is great, which makes the bike feel a lot nicer to ride as it felt a little top-heavy to me before, possibly improved as the new exhaust is tucked in tighter so enables me to get both legs tucked in to the tank, rather than have my right leg pushed out a bit.
Sounds great, if a bit quieter than the Tors that were on it before, and appears to produce a bit more low down grunt.
More than happy with the quality, especially for the price paid.
Old thread, but how is access to the oil fill with this exhaust?
