After, what? two years of mistakes [a Vespa] and trying to close my eyes when a Bonneville was close by. I did enjoy learning to play the cello, though the humiliations continue to plague me. But I just bought a green '02 standard Bonnie. It looks very fresh, garage kept of course, with just over 9K miles. Pics soon to follow, and I'll pick it up Friday morning.

I did keep up a bit by reading the forum occasionally, and need to declare now that there isn't a better forum available for depth, friendliness, and all of course led by the inimitable Forchetto! Great to be back, and I'll have plenty of questions again soon.

Best to all -

Yep, this is a classy forum, with great moderators. I was kinda wondering for a while why I hadn't seen you, Lapin. But now, unfortunately, I'm headed the other way, and have all but disappeared here. Had to let the Bonnie go. At one point (3 weeks ago) I had 6 bikes in the garage. The Bonnie was the only street. I no longer have the time, money or space for all of them. The least used had to go. Dirt is my first love.

I do not like the dirt forum I'm on. The language is atrocious, and one of the mods is as volatile and childish as the members he's suppose to be surveilling. But the info there is invaluable, so I bite my tongue and continue to read.

Welcome back.

Hey Bron! Your selling the Creamsickle is a shock! But hell I sold my '04 black beauty...But life goes on. If there's beer there's a way. I know what you mean about forums and contributors; I was on the Vespa forum for awhile, mostly good people but gawd the self-regarding orchid people were impossible to deal with.

But hope yer happy out there & enjoying life! Best, Eric
