I've read numerous threads on the baffelectomy process but from what I can see, the factory silencers are a bit different than previouls years and the process does not seem like it is going to work. Anyone have experience doing this on 2014 Thruxton factory silencers? Apologies if I have not found the information elsewhere.
I'ts not necessary to do the normal baffleectomy with the hole saw on the 2014 and 15's. Just drill or punch a hole through each of the 3 baffles. Drill or punch out the Cat at the front of the muffler (for off road use only) if you like. These are louder than the earlier ones stock.
Seriously, save your money and buy proper cans that you will be happy with then when you go to sell you can put the oem ones back on and sell them. Norman Hyde Togas/or ? will make your bike breath and sound proper.
At one time I almost bought Emgos but surmised they were to loud so I bit the bullet and bought NH Toga's. I love them and I get a lot of nods and thumbs up from folks.
