I've made the swap. Yup, Rotella 15W40 Triple P, dino oil is in my Bonnie's sump now.....

Looks like the guys from Bonneville America like the Rotella oil....

There are some interesting write ups on the Rotella Forum...
Heck I even posted my initial observations there.

If you're looking for an alternative lubricant, do your homework.

Apparently the Suzuki GSXXER boys Love the Rotella synthetic-they talk about it on their web site. What's not to like-the price is right and it does the job very well. Gonna start usin git as soon as I run ou tof my Mobil 1 V-Twin stocks. Wonder about the viscosity though, in Bama it is HOT. Maybe use it for winter oil.

Shell Rotella T
Yup, if you had followed the link I provided in my first post of this thread, it would have taken you directly to the M/C forum, bypassing the home page......oh yeah, I've made a few posts there as well....some quite a few months old. Back when I first started investigating Rotella.

Gets hot over here in Ga, to HiVel....100F and 90%+ humidity isn't uncommon.
That's one of the reasons I was hesitant, till I read some of the postings from CHERGO/Florida and Blackwind1/Texas.

Check out the posts on the Rotella sight, and the Bonneville America site. A lot of famaliar names using the stuff, North and South.
