I would like to get some feedback on this seat too. I have a solo seat with rack and even though it is super comfortable, it just doesn't look that great on Scrambler IMO. I bought over $1,000 worth of motorcycle stuff this winter and I still have a lot of stuff on my list (including a second motorcycle). I need more self control.

Nice job Johnny, looks sweet. Hows is it for coomfort?
I may just have to buy a Slammer seat and give feedback as nobody seems to have experience with one, problem is it seems I'm months away from riding the Scram again in this frigid icebox!
However, winter add-ons continue - NB bullet light kit, PM bag rack, Farmer's Racer bag, Renntec rack.... and finally, a Slammer seat?? Yes please.... ;)

it's really comfy- it started life as my stock se seat- i switched to a contempary seat and cowl when i went a bit more 'caffy racer'

i didn't remove any foam from the riders seating area just from the rear and narrowed it down. it looks extreme but even on the stock foam i can sit on that thing all day with no issues- even on my bony scrawny arse!!!!!

Just went out and sat on my Scram. I realize that I do not want to reduce my reach to the pegs - I'm 5"9", not that tall, but I don't want to feel cramped. I wonder if this seat is a significant reduction in that reach over the stock plank. I'll ask BC.

Very nice, what seat is that, any idea? I do like how it leaves the frame rails exposed. Looks like it's a bit thicker/taller than the Slammer. I'm torn on black or brown. My Scram is a 2007 white/blue, I'm not sure how brown might look... black is the safer choice.
I'll be ordering my Farmer's Racer bag by end of week. :D

Got mine today...

Have not mounted it on yet as I'm still finishing up my winter projects - maybe tomorrow or the weekend.

It looks really nice on the bike - you see more of the frame and the shortened length is perfect for my new bobbed fender.

The material feels substantial and they did a great job of mounting it on. So far I'm super excited.

I know this is a super old post, but, where'd you get those side cover plates for the Scrambler? Are they just Bonneville ones and they happen to fit behind the exhaust? Or did you have to modify/cut them in any way to make it fit?

I spoke with Sean at British Customs the other day and he sent over a couple of pics of the seat in Brown. I think it looks pretty bad ass. Here they are:

I mounted mine up today and it was a bit interesting of a fit. There is a bit more room between the tank and the seat than I'd like.

Other than that, it looks smashingly cool. I really like the look of the seat - its shorter, and lets you see more of the frame. It feels really nice, but I'll need to put 8 hours on it before I decide for sure.

I'll snap some pictures as soon as I finish with my AI removal - hopefully tomorrow.

Looks nice, I think I'm gonna order one, but in black. If that brown was richer/more mottled I might consider it. When you say it's an interesting fit, does that mean you have to play with it relatiove to the existing mounting points? Looks like it should fit right up. No?
Thanks in advance for your pics.

I just received the Slammer Seat from Sean @ British Customs. It's great quality and goes on nice. It "fits" the bike like I think the seat should. It was pricey but I really wanted a slimmer, speaker looking seat for my scram. Felt the stock was just too big and awkward.

I'm very happy with it aesthetically. Unfortunately I haven't driving on it yet since it's bone cold here in NYC.

I was about to order the same seat when I came across this thread. Great seat, brown needs to be more destressed looking IMHO. I think I will order black my scram is flat black. Changing the lights over hopefully this week, cant stand the plastic stock on such a fine bike. Cheers
