I have no trouble with starting my carbed America.
Pros to carbs, they're easy to adjust when you make engine modifications. Just change jets.
Cons. EFI adjusts automatically for altitude, temperature and humidity, but you have to remap when you change intake or exhaust systems.
I frequently ride over the Sierras from California to Nevada and can notice a little decrease in power when I get up around 7,000 - 8,000 ft, but not enough to worry about.
I don't think you can go wrong with either carbs or EFI Triumphs
