For cushy comfort, I like the Thruxton gel seat. Once broken in (maybe 300 miles), it's a vast improvement over stock.

I also have a Corbin Gunfighter. It's a very firm seat, but better for long-distance comfort than the Thrux gel. Just my opinion, of course.

I really like my corbin gunfighter. Im not a super long distance rider but the stock seat was unbearable after 40 miles. I added one of those sheepskin covers and that added 20 miles before i needed a break. The corbin after break in is comfortable for a solid 100 miles before i would like a little break.

I racked my brain for a couple weeks on what to get. I decided to go with this:

You can put a cowl on it too if you don't use the rack and then if you go for a tour pop the rack back on. I think they offer just the seat as well.

Whomever said all good things in moderation certainly never rode a bad ass Bonneville

If money's an issue forget Corbin. The Triumph K&Q is a fraction of the cost and comfortable from day 1.
Something to consider is they add an inch to the seat height.

Like Easy13, my Thruxton gel seat is a huge improvement over stock. I had the factory seat reworked and, even after a break-in period, it was still terribly uncomfortable. Maybe because I only weigh 150# and have a boney backside? Others have had their stock seats reworked and were very happy with the improvement. I used a Corbin Gunfighter on my W650 and even though it was as hard as a brick, it fit and was comfortable.

Never had a K&Q but my Burton keeps me comfortable all day.

I went with the single seat with rack, the scrambler seat has white piping on the edge otherwise it's the same. 1400km's on the stock seat and 2000km's so far on the single with rack and it's been great!
