Thanks for the encouraging comments!!! It energizes me!! I rode it some more today...I really like this bike a lot!! I rode the Hammer afterwards and man, that thing feels like a big ole' pig in comparison!!
My son was noticing that the chain was slightly looser than normal on the bike and the adjuster is maxed out. I had felt like the speedo was reading higher than actual mph. HMMM, something seems amiss!!! Hard to believe the chain would stretch that much in 8600 miles??!?! I GPS'd my actual mph vs. the speedo and i'm off around 10mph!! Put the two issues together and what do you have? It's not the rear sprocket, it is the stock 43 tooth. It's GOT to have a smaller front sprocket, which would solve both issues!! I will check soon, but that would be an easy fix if that is it!!

I did the SAI mod today. I went with the electrical wire nut shoved into the hose and then zip tie on both side of that to ensure it doesn't make it's way in either direction. Thanks for the suggestion!! It seems to work great!!
I also have bought the following today from some of the members of this very fine site...
(EDIT: DISREGARD THIS PART, I ENDED UP FINDING THE RIGHT MIRRORS* Mirrors off 2009 Scramber. They look to be slightly different than the Bonnie ones I see listed (different angle?). Hopefully I can at least modify to work ok? http://www.triumphrat.net/attachment...t-p1010603.jpg
* Used mirror brackets as at least one of mine is toasty!!
* Used levers (one of mine is broke).
* New cam cover gasket.
A couple of decent leads on a front fender. But nothing to speak of for the headlight assembly/brackets and gas tank? Anyone has these or knows someone who does, let me know!?!!?!
