10mm rear boost is a pretty minor change in geometry. You probably won't notice a significant difference in handling. So no, you don't *need* to do anything to the front.
That said, if you're getting good shocks for the rear, you'll rapidly notice that the stock front end is pretty bad. At the minimum, get some weight-matched front springs, and get your sag set right. Playing with fork oil height/weight will help as well. Adding a cartridge emulator or intiminators will improve things another level. If you've got bucks, get cartridge inserts or do a CBR F4 cartridge transplant for the best ride available short of a full front-end replacement.
Motorcycles are not, by nature, forgiving creatures.
