garage threshold

I just moved to another house and it has a two car garage. My problem is that there is a 2 inch threshold - going into the garage that holds tracks for sliding screen door. Getting the bike, Bonnieville T100 in, going forward, but pulling it out is not much fun. I thought about backing it into the garage over the threshold might be easier getting it out. That 2 inch high X 8 inch threshold is the bear. I looked up wheel chair portable ramps but the ones that I saw were 2-3 hundred dollars. Has anyone had such a situation, and if so any recommendations on a fix for the problem

2008 Bonnieville T100, AI removed,, Renntec rack, Bella Corse air box kit, Hyde Togas, billet manifolds,142/42,, 2 1/2 turns,Halgon progressive, Halgon rear shocks, Superbrace, gaiters.

Leave a car outside. Problem solved.

1) Go to your nearest home-improvement store and buy one 8 foot section of 1x3 pressure-treated. Buy one tube of construction adhesive to fit into your calk gun.

2) Cut the 1x3 into six 1-1/2 foot pieces.

3) After determining where you will be driving your bike in and out of your garage, Glue one piece on each side of the threshold.

4) Glue a second piece on top of each of the two you installed first.

5) Glue the last two pieces to the floor, inside and outside of your garage, on the outside of the first two assemblies you installed.

Done. You should now have two small mini ramps that should be easy for you to navigate.

my car is already outside , have considered the wooden blocks but was looking for something more stable. I will give the wood a try for now
