Took it in to the dealer for a repair estimate. I was read-ended Saturday taking off from a stoplight and it bent the rear fender, license place bracket, and broke the taillight (maybe more - the dealer will find out what exactly it needs). And I had just had it at the dealer that same day to put on the accessories that I bought with the bike a week earlier (saddlebags, windshield, exhaust, and center stand). It had only 83 miles on the odo when it was hit. :-(

I've been rear end before with a new Harley and talk about being pissed. The bike was hit right out from under me leaving me standing in the road. The first thing I did after righting the bike was to jump the person behind me. When I saw it was an 80 year old man I just turned around and sat on the bike until the cops got there. I feel your pain man.

whit, I can't imagine the frustration of that situation.
Moving on, today I removed the Intiminators from the front forks of my T100, and put in Hagon Progressive springs. The front end had a vibration, and Brian at Ricor was good enough to drill a hole in the Intiminators, but even after there was a small but persistent vibration in the front end (I thought), so I took them out and put in the Hagon springs. Low and behold, I took it out in 38 deg., and hit 60 mph quickly, which suprised me because this bike has never been comfortable at much speed, but everything was solid and great. I feel like I have a new bike. A couple more test runs, and I'll know for sure. And, yes if everything checks out like I think it will, the Intiminators will be going out the door, to their next home. Very happy here.

Fitted up Staintune mufflers to the Scrambler & gave it a good run.
Sounds great & looks better than the OEM (slightly smaller)
Anyone want to buy a pair of TOR's

Blue & White Scrambler, Staintunes, Dart flyscreen
Red Thruxton, Staintunes, flyscreen
TT-R250RA, Staintune, B&B bashplate

Living in So Cal I don't have much to complain about in the weather department... but this morning's ride to work at 38*F was cold! Hats off to you folks that ride in these temps on a regular basis!

Waxed mine. But its a new 2013 Thruxton, Brooklands Green, that I brought home yesterday, so I was eager to make it a shiny as possible.

Stay cool, like Steve McQueen

Today. as I headed out to work, I looked at my Bonnie in a sad, missing-you-kind of way. Compassion made me walk over and cover it with a towel to keep it from getting too cold in my garage. Poor guy! At least it has some good company with the V-strom, sv 650 and Sylvester the cat.

i rode it for the first time in 4 days, the rain and idiot so cal drivers, an the dang street sweeper have kept me off it early this week.

it was cold at 34* this morning, add to that a 70mph wind chill. thank goodness for my aerostich.

was the first ride i did with the AI disabled (ol' ball bearing trick) and i must say its much nicer.

then after work i took it christmas shopping, so i can park it up by the stores rather than in the parking lot.

I installed the fender delete kit, then I dropped it off the lift. Super Pissed!, snapped the clutch lever and put a small dent in the tank. Not the beat day for me.
