What did you do to your twin today?

The Classic triple forum has a thread for daily modifications and shop work. Lets get that going for twins as well.

Today I lowered my T100's rear brake lever. I took the pin out, the master cylinder off and adjusted the bucket and locknut. Now I won't be beside my brake pedal on that bike, I can be above it, ready to use it just a tiny bit quicker.

I also painted the worst-off gas cap I had, black. So I can ride on sunny days without being blinded by my own bike. - my sun visor is in the helmet, and comes down from the top so I get nice glare off the clocks and tank... :(

Rocky,

I've got about 1100 miles on my 2015 mag wheel (which did not have a tach ) so I had some concerns about break-in rpms. So, I never went over 80mph and varied engine speeds and all is fine. Now that I have a tach, I think I would not have gone over 70 until the first service.

My pipes have a very nice rainbow of color where they meet the engine.

I did the DEcosse Keyless Ignition system (find his thread on the forum using search) this past weekend on my 2013 T100 SMQ. It is a dream to walk up to the bike, have it greet me with a quick flash of the lights as it detects the remote keyfob in my jacket pocket, hop aboard, squeeze the clutch to latch ignition on, then hit the starter.

Trying to decide if I want to spray paint my tank badges, I first tried it using Plasti-dip so if I didn't like it I could peel it back off. I'm still on the fence.

I like that look!

MileHigh, I too prefer the look of Chrome better.

However ............. your badges now match your engine covers, which works. Especially on a Scrambler. The "Rustic" model of the Classic line.

The Plasti-Dip was a great choice. Temporary, easy to reverse.

Exactly. Easy temporary change. I wish I'd thought to do that to my bike's bodywork. I am about done converting her to all satin finish... Which started out as a mistake!

Well Dsrt it is a fine looking motorbike.

Gave the Bonnie an oil change followed by a test ride to check for leaks. Got a couple of weeks off work so I might have to go for a bit of a tour. Nice spring weather.

Swapped the front fork springs for Ikon Progressives with Bel-Ray 10w oil . Squashed the K&N oil filter with the bike jack, it had the nut fixed to it and protruded just below the rails... Oil change and new filter.
Went out for a not short test run and quite impressed with the replacement springs. I tried them over a wide variety of road surfaces, easy to do in semi rural NZ.
No leaks found and well satisfied.

Fade to not black...

While walking to my bike from lunch, I noticed my throttle body caps have faded already, installed new in April of this year.

They don't look terrible, but they used to be black. While also faded, the one on the left-hand side still is more or less black.

I've had the same experience with an oil filler cap from the same manufacturer. Still a fan, but will be sure to keep it in mind for future purchases.
