when i first got the bike, it was agile, and had clean, crisp handling. 6yrs later, it needs a little help.
since the preload was so tight on the rear, the shock did not have its full range of motion, so it has worn quickly, dealer says the factory shock has a tendancy to not wear evenly, bulges in the center, and is not rebuildable.
There has to be something more practical than ohlins, and more "bang for your buck" than the factory shock.
As far as the springs go, Race Tech has some TT progressives, but no linear for my Baby Speed. I think i am just going to bite the bullet and order a custom set from Works Connection and a revalve, but i just cant stomach the ohlins sticker price..i'll keep you guys informed on what i figure out
