Call me unlucky!

I've been lurking here for a while now trying to find the rite time to post something, and well, I now have something to write about.

I bought a 125cc scooter about 6 months ago just to commute on and to save on petrol costs. It was worth the money and did its job, but it was just way too slow, dangerously slow even.
So after some thought I decided to buy my self a proper bike, one that could actually break the speed limit (Mind you, my scooter was the only bike I ever got a speeding fine on. ) and get away from precarious situations, like being sandwiched between two cars. I bought myself a Kawasaki ER 6N. It was a really fun bike. The first blow was after about a month it got blown over in a very bad storm and broke the foot peg, bent the handle bars, cracked some of the plastics and dented the tank. I then got most of the things fixed but decided I wanted a bike that could go even faster. (you see my brother has a ZX 6 and my dad owns a Sprint, so I suppose thinking about it now, there was a bit of competitiveness involved in the decision)
When I recovered financially from the Kawasaki damages I traded it in for a Suzuki GSXR 750 (Stupid! I know) It was fast! Too fast for my level of experience and not long after getting it I wrote it off going around a corner way too quickly, at speeds I would rather keep to myself. (fixation, freezing up, thinking I would slide out if I lent over more . . . those of you who have had an accident know what I'm talking about)
Blow number 2!!
Insurance was a mess because of my age, and because I claimed so early, and because ... and because ... and because. I learned the hard way that you have to read insurance contracts from top to bottom before signing anything.

So, although I was very disheartened and upset, I was luckily still in one piece except for hurt ligaments in my shoulder and a bruised wrist, and considered my self very fortunate.

As I said my dad rides a triumph and one day while watching a video of a street triple on Youtube, I decided I would go down the same road.
I ordered a white street III with all the extras, when I took delivery of it about three weeks ago I couldn't have been happier. Although the top end on the bike wasn't what my Suzuki could do, I was happy because I was having fun again and it was an absolute pleasure to ride.

Blow number 3!!
This Friday just gone past I was riding home from work when a taxi driver pulled out next to me with no indicator knocking me over.
I live in South Africa and if any of you know anything about the country you'll know how bad the level of driving is, especially from the local transport.
His excuse was he didn't see me. Bare in mind I was going about 20km/h, had a reflective vest on and had my high beams on.
I wasn't hurt other than a grazed knee, bruised ankle and hurting my shoulder which was just starting to come right.

With that said, I have decided to sell the bike purely for financial reasons and to avoid something more serious happening, and in the future hopefully have me thinking "hell, I miss my bike" rather than "hell, I miss the use of my limbs"
