My 96 sprint had the fork tubes up above the yolk when I bought it used five years ago.
I got a pair of Genmar risers, and they fit perfectly over the fork tube extending out from the yolk.
The risers were ordered for the 96 triumph specifically, so I suspect it is stock for them to be that high.
