Well, about a dozen years ago I bought my horse six months before he was old enough f/ me to get on him, so I got to do six months of ground training and just palling around w/ him every day.
So, you might try just pushing your new baby around the neighborhood a bit every day just to let her know that you love her and polish her a lot... But seriously, best of luck w/ your bike when you get your grade - you made a good choice!
