Insurance for long travels
Hi folks! I will leave Britain for a 3.5 months trip on my 2003 Tiger this summer. Unfortunately the insurance I bought in February (through Aquote with Norwich Union) only cover 4 weeks stay abroad at a time for up to 3 times per year (I would have to come back once a month for the cover to have effect). Do anyone know of a convinient solution to this? Should I cancel the one I have and buy a new one? Or should I buy a second one for the 3.5 months only (with a different insurer if this is at all possible)? I have talked to Aquote and they are not very helpful in finding a solution. What do people do when they go on several months travels on their bikes out of the UK?
