Yep, I do have a tidy. AND you might be bringing up a good point. By bringing the rear plate assembly closer to the tyre, the tidy might actually prevent that dreaded spray from expanding AWAY from the bike. All I know is that neither my rear seat cowl nor my jacket were that messed-up with the original plate bracket.
