I've not made any changes recently. In fact, it's the first year in a long time that I've barely ridden through the winter months. Hope I'm not becoming "fair weather" <gasp> ;-)
My only (and probably quite significant) crime was putting the bike away wet on several occasions and letting it fester (I paid the price by having to completely strip and overhaul the brakes as punisment!). I imagine this is unlikely to have done any exposed electrical connections much good either.
I'll give it a good going over tonight and disconnect/reconnect/tighten as many things as possible, with lashings of WD40 and see how it performs over the weekend
