more questions...

first of all thanks for the reply...

well if i don't need a new tank where would i get the fittings? and how would those be put back on? welder?

i never even thought to repair the fairings so i will definitely be looking into that!

there are no dealerships close to me and i'm trying not to spend dealer prices to get this back on the road...

as far as the footpegs go i've seen tons of stuff on this forum for that but al i need is a cut and dry place to get aftermarket pegs...

the only reason i thought the throttle wasn't good was because it has lost the springy-ness to it, when you get on the throttle it doesn't spring back to its original place and its very gritty not smooth at all... if i did want to replace it all together would it be an arm and a leg? i'm just trying to put a price list together for necessities, i want to get riding again before i start actually putting money into it like i want to...

the tail might have to wait, i've seen some one ebay so i might just zip tie the license plate holder to the back of the bike for now...

i'm most concerned about the gas tank, that seems like it'll be the biggest chunk of change right now and i really just want to get that fixed first!

the frame is not bent at all he was only going about 15-20 mph when he laid it down so it was low impact...
