Thanks

Thanks for the replies. Good info and great looking bikes.
I got to studying mine closer last night and I realized that with the bags on my tourer there is no good way to mount the aftermarket rear blinkers I want. Thought I would have to settle for the 'raised up' license plate bracket riveco offers but after sleeping on it I have a plan. I'm going to fab my own lay down plate bracket, use the original plate light, and mount it on the bolt at the bottom of the shock on the left side. I'm also going to make two brackets to take the place of the side reflectors, remove the original blinkers from the stock license plate (stems and all) and mount them on these brackets, angled down and slightly back. This should put them at about the original height, slightly forward of where they were but still very visible. If I'm clever enough I won't even have to clip the wires. I'll powder coat the brackets black. I'd like to chrome them but don't want to wait.
That's my plan, I'll start Monday but it will probably take me a few weeks to accomplish in my spare time. If it's not too hideous I'll post photos when it's complete. Thanks again pig9r, Wimpy and rr.
