If it only started blowing fuses after you dryed out the ignition unit i would start by checking any wires around that area that touch anything metalic, they may have rubbed through the insulation and be causing a short and blowing the fuse. DONT ever fit a bigger fuse as that will just fry the wiring, OK !! if you find any bare wires, tape them up with insulating tape, individually.
