hey folks... been lurking for a while now but finally got some questions to ask!
my buddy just purchased an '05 kawi r6, he's been riding for about 3 years now and recently got me into it... he taught me on his '01 tt600 which was his first bike... about a month ago he laid it down pretty bad, he's ok fortunately but the bike isn't... he made a deal with me since he purchased his new kawi that if I wanted to pay to get the tt running I could have it... here are some pics of the bike:
surprisingly it's not that bad... I need a new tank because 2 of the valves underneath are broken off, new throttle, new bolt kit, new battery, new right side brake lever, new tail, and new seat... the fairings r trashed but I'm not worried about them right now the exhaust is brand new and needs remapping, I want to get it back on the road before I start sinking money into to get it looking sharp again, I was actually thinking the s4 look would be sweet when I'm swapping out fairings and things... any replies would be great, any links for replacement parts would be great also... thanks - Zac
