Cheers!
I bought my missus a set of heating gloves (Gerbing or whatever they are called) which uses a trailing lead power socket wired directly to the battery terminals (with I/L fuse). I have zip-tied this to the top frame rails and there is enough slack to coil up the wire and tuck it in next to the gameboy socket. When the gloves are in use, I simply pop off the pillion seat, pull the trailing socket upwards and replace the seat. The socket then sits between the two seats & on top of them.

As I'm invariably pulling off the seats to adjust the shock for solo/pillion use, this is no bother at all. We've had the gloves, grips and lights on but I have heard instances of the charging circuit being unable to keep up with the demands of heated gear. I think these have been extreme instances with things like vests which pull a much greater load on the battery. I'm going to fit spotlights to my crashbars soon so I don't want to go too far with the clothing!

Wifey says the gloves are as warm as toast, by the way!
