I cut down the stock screen very low and then added a lamilar lip. Let's face it men, these things are terrible as far as wind management is concerned. I don't believe it has alot to do with the shields, IMHO it is the total size of the fairing, the "foot print". These are massive bikes that stir up the atmosphere at high speeds. The problem is, Triumph tried to make them aero-dynamic rather than go the Gold-wing route. I work on cars. Late model autos are so aero-dynamic you can't role the windows down on the freeway, they're so noisy. You can hear the mirrors cutting the air thru the side-glass. The turbulence behind late model cars is incredible. The buffetting we feel is mostly from behind the bike, not what passes over the sheild. Either get the biggest windshield possible or the smallest. I went small and will soon invest in the best most soundproof helmet on the market.
Any suggestions on which helmet is best would be appreciated.
