yeah my first one lasted about 7000 miles. I am not sure about the high beam working better, as soul rebel said. My high beam kinda sucks. This light is much better than stock, but I am still not real excited in the woods in the night or in the rain. I think it has more to do with the design of the light bucket because these lights are very bright on other autos.
