I commute on mine and find it comfortable at speeds up to 80 or 90mph depending on wind strength. Today was a little windy (20mph sustained, gusts to 35/40) and I was quite happy at 80mph. I got to about 110 but that was too much so slowed down.
Your best bet is to get a day or half day test ride and see what you think.
