Cool newish rider with a street triple

Hello everyone I just want to say I'm a new rider and here's a little bit about myself.

I recently bought a new Street triple. And I want to say that I love it. It's a great bike. It's light and agile. The seating position is very comfortible. I can ride it without getting tired or having to get off right up until my gas light comes on.

I'm a newish rider that still hasn't taken the MSF corse. I've wanted a motorcycle for years but never took action and persued it. Last year I bought a Suzuki GZ 250. I had never riden before in my life. I didn't have the time to take the MSF corse so I had the dealership drop the 250 off at my house. I then had a buddy ride it to an empty lot and I spent an afternoon getting coordinated with where all the controls are and learning how to balance and lean and turn. I spent the rest of the summer and fall riding to school and work. I dropped it once when I was trying to park. It's harder to maintain your balance at a slower speed vs a higher speed.

I now have my street triple and have not had any problems riding it. What I've found out is this. That no matter what size bike you have you are still riding arround at the same speeds. Acceleration and top end are different but a bike will only accelerate as fast as you open the throttle. Hence ride within your limits and respect the bike.

I am also scheduled to take the MSF course next month.
