Oh, boy. BTDT. See my thread over in Twin Talk->Tech. 1 of mine was easy, the other resisted all of the suggestions I got or could think of. Cursing didn't help, nor beer. :-( I ended up drilling the bolt head off. I first drilled a small (3/16) hole in the center and then used a 3/8 bit to take the head off. It made it half way down the bolt head, and then twisted off. My idea was to get it to twist off so I didn't have the bit go all the way into the crush washer and then damage the lower fork. You will need something to wedge into the damper rod to keep it from spinning with the drill - a dowel or broom handle works - I added some duct tape sticky side out on the end to help grip the damper rod.
