I'd be willing to bet...
That there is a fair amount of overlap between the motorcycle crowd and the Cormac McCarthy crowd.
"Suttree" and "Blood Meridian" are two books that I find myself rereading every few years.
You guys that get to ride around in those landscapes are pretty dang lucky IMHO.
