I've got convertibars on my RS. They feel great once you have it set up. I had to cut my fairings to make it work, but I didn't have to put on longer brake or clutch lines.

After doing it, probably the gen mars would've done the same thing for me with less hassle though. I just didn't want to buy something, and then not like the position. I figured the convertibars would get me infinite positioning options...

One neat thing about the convertibars, is it actually makes the handlebars a little wider in "up and back" mode. Makes the bike feel like it steers quicker. Then, the forward and down position is exactly like stock...and I can go lower than stock if I want to (like I did for the track day).
