I assume you're talking about riding into the sun?

Over here where the sun shines more often than not, I use a strip of 1 inch tape across the bottom of my visor to keep the direct sunlight out. My commute to work in the morning is into the sun and I find that raising the visor so that the tape blocks out the sun work a treat.

I used to have a tinted visor but found it a total waste of time and money because once the sun went down it was too dark. I haven't used those iridium visors so can't say if they're any good or not.

I always wear a pair of polarised sunglasses (during the day) but not the black/dark lens types rather the gold/bronze as it works better for me in lower light levels.

Maybe you can get some photochromatic lens sunnies such as the MAKO brand?
