If you are a big believer in helmets don't buy the Davida classic. It's not DOT, it's just for looks in my opinion. Check out the Classic Jet and Speedster helmets instead. They look cool plus offer way more protection than the pudding bowl style.
Here's a thread about the HCI Davida knockoffs. Hell of alot cheaper and DOT approved.
