RM, I'm not sure why you are surprised at the type of responses you have gotten. This is a Rocket site and most of us like/love/adore our ride. A lot of us have had minor beefs, we air them out here, some suggestions are thrown around and someone usually reports back if the suggestion made any difference.
Obviously by your post, you have not had a great experience, believe me I feel your pain, and a number of us have offered suggestions, encouraged you and tried to support you in a general way...all the while hoping we aren't in next in line for the same experience you have had.
But the bottom line is there aren't that many of us, so what, anybody in my personal opinion can ride a Harley, it takes someone special to master this beast (and others of the high HP and high torque type of bike), we're proud of it and I'm sorry that you feel so frosted at someone like Dougl, Ugarte...probably me too (by the end of this post), and others who haven't had the problems you've had. We still enjoy riding the Rocket, I'm sure when one of us starts to have major problems we are hoping we don't have your experience. A lot of it is the dealer, as stated before I happen to have a great one, it's apparent you probably don't. But take the good with the bad among us and try not to lose heart...we are still pulling for you even though you appear to think that those of us who still like our Rockets are either ignorant or stupid...we are not.
