Prompted by some other tyre threads I'm amazed (more like astounded) at how many miles some people get from tyres.

So here's a poll. Please tick your box for the number of MILES you get from your tyres (rear) and reply to the thread with

No commuting, mostly weekend or holiday riding with the boys on twisty-twisties/country roads riding "briskly" with generally "firm" not max acceleration
Rear tyre shot right across with some flaking and on the wear bars at 3,750 miles (6,000 km)

Last two bikes were Honda VTR and Aprilai SL1000 Falco and I never got more than 5,000 from any tyres - best was Z6.
