I've been unfortunate enough to have to use them twice in about two months last year.
One C02 'bomb' worked fine enough for me to get home again. One wasn't at full pressure, perhaps 30 bar low, but two would've of over filled the tyre.
Just watch out, they get VERY cold when your inflating.
My new kit has a foam cover which you can slide on to stop your hands freezing.
I always carry at least three of these 'bombs'.
