Man. What a ride.... 265 miles, and w00t.
Here's a track of the ride (I live about 20 miles east of the right edge of the map)... lots of twisties, gorgeous scenery, and miles of empty, excellent road.
Everything east of McKittrick is some of the
ugliest scenery anywhere. This is pretty much where the fun starts....
Incredible riding. Very little traffic, lots of carving and passing of hog riders. :lol:
This time of year, the hills are beautiful green. Good thing I brought my jacket liner and insulated gloves- it got
cold up in the hills.
I had no idea it was so great back there. No wonder Pashnit calls the 58 one of the best motorcycle roads in California.
