Still waiting for Canadian prices to come down
Just another rant about the difference in prices between the US and Canada.
I was planning on buying a Speedmaster this spring but I just can't stomach the fact that, at $10,600 CDN, it cost 28% more than the US price of $8,300. I refuse to pay 28% more for the same bike simply because I live in Canada.
HarleyDavidson has a price differential of ~12% and unless Triumph smartens up I will be buying a sportster instead.
The Canadian dollar is expected to be at least on par with the US dollar for at least the next year. Prices really need to reflect this reality.
