Great run is head up the highway until past Raymond Terrace and around Karuah, take the turn to Gloucester and on to Bucketts Way & Thunderbolts to Walcha and then Armidale. Great, great ride. Then head from Armidale to Ebor and Dorrigo and on down the mountain through Bellingen to Valla Beach.
Much more fun than riding the highway and only about 140kms longer (about 650kms from Sydney, the highway would be 510 or so). Allow 7 hours with stops.
