Even though your valve adjustment interval is 12 miles, do not go that long. I repeat: DO NOT GO THE FIRST 12K BEFORE ADJUSTING YOUR VALVES!!!! I did mine on my 955i at 11,500 miles and 4 of the six intake valves had NEGATIVIE CLEARANCE!!!!! They were abou .004" held open.

I mentioned this to my Triumph mechanic friend and he was falling all over himself beiing sorry for not telling me to do them at 6k. He does every Triumph at the 6k point then 12k intervals. He forgot to tell me because I do my own work and it just slipped his mind.

So, do them at 6k, then 18k, 30k etc.

Not hard. I did it the pull the cams method and had them done in 4 hours even going to the dealer for shim swaps.

DO NOT WAIT UNTILL 12K. Did I say it enough?
