+1 on the Gerbing.
I opted for the heated jacket (like the vest but long sleeved) and a pair of G3 gloves.
Do get the dual temp controller it is handy and I think very Necessary.
These work best when worn tight to the body so I suggest a size or two smaller so you can wear your jacket over it.
It's a good idea to try it on first before you buy it.
What I thought was going to be the right size for me turned out to be too big.
I went with something alot smaller then I expected or were suggested.
You can run the Vest and the G3 gloves off the optional battery but you can not run the jacket with the gloves. Only the jacket or only the gloves.
When the weather is milder these are plenty warm without plugging them in too. So it is also a good idea not to wear too much under. I recommend a cotton turtle neck. This will keep the heating even and you will not have any hot spots where the gerbing comes in contact with skin. I know this from experience. I wore a long sleeve crew neck and what kept the body warm got my neck hot and it was very uncomfortable.

Good luck
JC
