Exclamation Cam chain on 1050's

At my 40kkm service my dealer noticed that he could not get the timing right, and took the engine apart and found that the cam. chain was worn and it was changed on warranty.

So today I was at the dealer to pick up some plastic stuff, and he mentioned that there seams to be a general issue with all 1050's, at least up to mid 2006, where the spanner of the cam chain is faulty (I'm not mechanical, and don't understand all of it).

As far as I know Triumph know about the issue, and owners will get this fixed under warranty. I had it done, but as they later found that it it have to do with the spanner they will have to take the engine apart again at 60kkm, which is a 6 hour job - they are looking to see if they somehow can get Triumph to swallow it as a warranty job even if the bike is 3 years old.
