The TT's/S4's arguably don't have the smoothest 1-2 shift, but it may work better with a slight preload (pressure) of the shift lever with your foot before you roll-off the throttle, pull the clutch, & make the move.
Questions:
- How many miles on the bike?
- How many miles since the last oil change?
- What is the engagement point of your clutch lever (how far do you have to pull back the clutch lever before the clutch is fully disengaged?
- Has this situation worsened over time?
