My 07 gearbox started out feeling a little tight, but after a few thousand miles it smoothed out quite well. No issue with false neutrals or finding neutral. In the beginning I had a noticeable off-vibe at 5000 rpm steady throttle, but that's not there anymore. Clutchless upshifting and downshifting is not a problem.
Shifting is precise but takes a good positive throw, so I wouldn't say it is 'effortless'.
