I just bought my Triumph yesterday, a T100, and I originally thought I was going to buy a Harley Davidson Sportster.

It was the Harley Davidson "community" that made me a bit unsure at first about riding the bike, but a visit to the local dealership sealed the deal.

I think there is a market for people like me who want a classic bike from a western manufacturer with a strong heritage, but maybe not the social baggage that goes with a Harley.

Instead of a big monster like this though I'd like to see something smaller than the Bonnie. I know some say it's a good beginner bike, but at its current weight and displacement I'm finding myself looking to borrow a smaller bike to learn the ropes before getting on my T100. I know the current trend is for Bigger Better Faster More but would it kill Triumph to have a classic looking bike with maybe a 450cc motor?
