For the price of the Triumph Highways, you should go with either Chippewa or Carolina engineer boots. I can dig the loyalty to Triumph, but when wearing gear buy from folks that specialize in that area. Chippewa's been making boots longer than Triumph's been building bikes--and a helluvalot longer than they've been stitching leather. I don't chat much on the web, but I've been riding for over 30 years, and wearing those products since the beginning. Waterproof? Put some Snowseal on 'em.
