My question is how did MCN find out that it is a 1700? I dont think they measured the inner working of the mill. Did they interview this individual? Why would he speak given the fact that Triumph has been tight lipped about this for years. Don't forget the pictures a few months back probably done up on a paint program. This is probably another lost leader sent out to tease the multitudes only why did they have to make it so ugly?

It appears the engine is water cooled. No fins on the cylinders. Also the engine appears to not be finished asthetically. Not much to install a cam cover like the 865. I wouldn't be suprised if the production unit looks similar to our America/Speedmaster/Bonny engines. The engine is a lot taller and appears to be tilted forward. It would appear that it is more of a stroker. Time will tell.
